Avantages

The company operates at the cutting edge of deep tech, particularly in OLAP query engines. If you're part of the core engine team, it's an incredible place to learn and work on challenging, high-impact problems. You'll find many smart and capable colleagues who are passionate about technology.

Inconvénients

While the company promotes a flat hierarchy, in practice, there's a lack of clear decision-making processes. Discussions often drag on without resolution, leading to inefficiencies and confusion. Most teams outside of the engine group suffer from unclear direction and lack strong product or engineering leadership. The absence of a proper product management function exacerbates these issues. Although the people are generally good, the high work pressure sometimes leads to frustration and arrogance.

Avantages

e6data is one of those rare places where engineers actually get to work on real platform and systems problems instead of just wiring APIs. The problems here are genuinely hard and you are trusted to own them end-to-end. If you like building things that go to production and are used by real enterprise customers, this is a great place to be. I’ve personally seen features around various domain go from idea to production with real customer impact, which is very motivating.

Inconvénients

If you’re hungry for growth, ownership, and real responsibility, there aren’t really any cons here.
