      Avantages

      Legacy leadership at Western Computer was very strong, with leaders having deep product and industry knowledge, and technical skills to help customers.

      Inconvénients

      The new ownership and much of the executive team lacks industry knowledge and experience. They tend to focus on short term financial goals. Employees with tenure are not valued and work life balance for employees is elusive.

      Avantages

      Strong background and track record of successful ERP implementations. Most "legacy" employees are highly experienced with domain expertise. After being acquired, longer term financial security is stronger.

      Inconvénients

      Growth and acquisition/absorption of other companies has been somewhat disruptive. Little, if any, formal method to train and develop less experienced personnel.
