      Avantages

      I worked here for a total of 5 seasons, one of which was this past summer after a 2.5 year "hiatus." The ranch is situated in the most beautiful location. You will spend your season with 50-60 other staff members who are carefully and diligently interviewed and selected in order to maintain a wonderful work culture. The upper management do a fabulous job training and teaching staff about the mission of the ranch, as well as implementing that throughout the seasons. It is hard work, but extremely rewarding. You are able to participate in almost all of the activities the ranch offers. It is the healthiest mindset and one of the most fulfilling places I've ever worked.

      Inconvénients

      These are "cons" that actually become "pros": - Limited internet - No cell service - Remote living (40 minutes outside of Steamboat). - Work on holidays

      Avantages

      VVR really cares about their staff. I made some life long friends there and have definitely experienced personal growth.

      Inconvénients

      Although it is extremely beautiful and lots to do outdoors, it is a little drive to town. Good thing that Amazon/UPS ship there well.

      Thanks for taking the time to review your time with us, and thanks for your service. So encouraged that you experienced the care and sense of responsibility that we feel for our staff. I'll be the first to admit we don't do it perfectly, but it sounds like you knew our intentions were always to see you grow personally and in your relationships with others. Again, thanks for the encouragement. And, the older I get, the more I LIKE being further from civilization..... and Amazon is killing my budget! :)

      So happy to hear you had a great experience here at VVR, and thanks for your service. We strive to make it a great culture to work and live in, and the reality is that it is the staff who have the most impact on the atmosphere here. Our location is 30 minutes from Steamboat Springs, but probably feels like it is a lot further than that. I watched the news last night, and, frankly, I wish we were further away.... :) Seriously, thanks for taking the time to write down your thoughts. Ben
