Avantages
quiet work environment, many employees with long tenures (i.e. staying until retirement), some flexibility to move to other departments, non-stringent dress code, relatively defined work hours, very hands-on work.
Inconvénients
unclear overall compensation policy & approach, poor cost management approach, limited ability for growth and promotion (somewhat due to company's size), the culture of under-communication or no or late communication to employees.
