Layoffs are a consistent occurrence.
Senior management consistently demonstrates a lack of empathy, a lack of expertise, and deprioritizes its people in the name of profits, showing a complete disconnect with what has lead to Think Shift having any semblance of success. Without its people, Think Shift is nothing.
Problematic and toxic employees are kept at the company due to anxiety about how clients will respond to departures, in spite of how that affects company culture.
Distinct lack of diversity and also a lack of desire to improve in that regard.
Very questionable choices in regards to company direction, focusing on US expansion at a time when US sentiments are at an all time low and focusing on AI content instead of utilizing their people to stand out amongst the sea of bad AI content that exists.
Several members of upper management barely have a daily role in the company and instead focus on leadership talks that one could argue bring absolutely no value to Think Shift, its employees or its clients at a time when other areas of the company demand attention.
Client files and resources are handled in such a way that should leave clients very concerned by their relationship with Think Shift.
Ultimately, Think Shift just demonstrates a strong lack of understanding of what its problems are, how to fix them and ultimately, how to engage its employees, especially its creatives. They have put profits over every other metric and should a stubbornness to adjust. Upper management and board changes are required, are necessary, and until such changes are made, Think Shift will continue to unfortunately be a sinking ship.
