Avantages

TTC is the typical DC lobby firm that solely works for its own interests. Does not really care about clean energy - but really only care about money paying members. Made me realize companies that I do not want to work for.

Inconvénients

People there are not very nice, and very cliquey. They do not care about other colleagues, only care about themselves and their own interests. Very traditionally built.

Avantages

TTC is not a 'get me coffee' place to have a fellowship. You get to do real work. TTC works in a lot of different markets and is able to quickly expose interns/ fellows and new employees to industry leaders both in the public and private space. Having been a longstanding DC energy firm, the experience and knowledge they have (and want to share with anyone who comes through their doors) is enormous.

Inconvénients

TTC knows what markets it wants to work in and makes a point to do just that. If you're looking to be a fellow and potential employee down the line, don't be a renewable energy or clean tech generalist. Be eager to sink your teeth into a single market.

Avantages

Great coworkers and a good crowd of other fellows. Bosses are very understanding and are eager to help you learn and grow.

Inconvénients

Depending on who you work with, your tasks can become repetitive, but this is a trivial problem. DC metro can be expensive depending on where you live.
