Inconvénients
This company likes to think it's strategic, but it often feels like a game of Hungry Hungry Hippo. There is no commitment to a vision-- every plan gets shaken up/reorganized/overhauled every couple of months. I understand that one of the benefits of a smaller organization is that it can flex quickly, but this felt like constant whiplash. Pay is not at all competitive. Working conditions. The building is falling apart. One of the founders insists on everyone moving desks every few months, and that takes a lot of time and energy. It gets up to 90 degrees in the office during the warmer months, and HR's advice is to wear tank tops and eat a popsicle rather than perhaps work from a cooler location. Employees are expected to share rooms and bathrooms while traveling, which is inappropriate. One of the founders awkwardly sobs in every company meeting. She is extremely challenging to interact with.
