Avantages

I have worked at Spring Activator for over two years and I can say confidently it has been my favourite place to work to date. Not only is it INCREDIBLE work we do, to propel impact in entrepreneurship and investment which is incredible rewarding in itself. But I absolutely love the team I get to work with every day. It's a very supportive, positive working environment. They also prioritize work life balance. I feel deeply supported in my role and the goals of my career. I can't recommend working at Spring Activator enough!

Inconvénients

I don't work at the Vancouver office and wish there were more opportunities to see my colleagues in BC! But the annual retreat is a great opportunity for us to catch up.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I agree that there are challenges in being a remote team and I'm hoping we can create more connection opportunities virtually to support stronger relationships between the annual retreats.

Avantages

Strong Culture, with a true emphasis on working as a team.

Inconvénients

The team was small, and all hands were required to help with differing projects, which sometimes led to the occasional burnout.

Avantages

Bcorp Certified, work from home if you aren’t Vancouver or Toronto based. (If you are there is an expectation to go into the office)

Inconvénients

Unsafe work environment mentally (many have taken leaves of absence for mental health), CSuite is out of touch with the staff and does not communicate well, salaries are not fair, benefits package is not helpful, no professional development opportunities, unrealistic kpi’s and expectations of staff, overtime is just expected in roles, treat people like commodities and not people, the things outlined in our website - vision, mission, culture, are not realities of working here, maybe management thinks it’s correct but it is definitely not in alignment with the reality of the culture of the company.
