Avantages
Local, ground level teams are very good and work extremely hard.
Inconvénients
Senior managers are absolutely horrible; from regional levels upward. There is very obvious favoritism, especially among a very specific group of individuals that all came in together from Tesla, stemming from the VP and Director. They’ve run Service and their teams into the ground. They have no idea what they’re doing and the low morale and high rate of dissatisfaction from owners shows it. They have built a culture of constant reactionary decision, based not on pragmatism or common sense, but simply on emotion and shooting from the hip. Terrible and scary way to scale a new brand! There are several people who have been promoted simply because of who they know, and not for their qualifications. Your jaw would drop if you knew some of the promotions these folks have been given simply because they are a part of this inner circle of people. Everyone in our org sees it, it’s very obvious. It’s the elephant in the room. Many of us are holding out (but losing patience) hoping that there will be a change in Service leadership soon, and that those who followed them in will follow them back out. I hope someone reads this that can help the amazing teams on the front lines in Service Centers get the leadership they deserve. I hope they can see how desperately we need change, before it’s too late and we are all looking for work elsewhere.
