Avantages
I loved my job, the patients and clinicians that I worked with. I always work hard to make sure that the patients were treated with the service and respect that I would want for my own family. I received numerous accolades (verbal and in writing) from my supervisors. My 90 day evaluation was positive.
Inconvénients
I contacted Human Resources and spoke with a representative, I sent the supporting documentation of my complaint to HR, made an appointment to follow up after emailing the documentation, spoke with the same representative who basically stood up for Riverside and offered to do NOTHING, didn't offer a mediate a meeting between the employee and supervisors, was never offered to retrain, reevaluate, or even transfer to a new location under different management. I resigned because of the hostile work environment. I applied to 9 different jobs inside Riverside in the month of June, 6 of the 9 were in the same position that I worked in. I received two interviews and zero offers. I was a current Riverside employee at the time. Does Riverside take care of there employees? No, in my opinion. The front office staff do not "all" have to abide all by the same rules. I was the only one who was held the rules including the supervisors themselves. Some of the do as I say not as I do theories. Staff members would have phones out on the desks, conduct personal calls/ facetime video chats while sitting in the front office, allowed to listen to music, or play on social media and nothing was ever said to them, only me. No eating at your desk rules only applied to me. My supervisors ordered food delivery through Uber eats and had it delivered to the front office, they ate at their desks as well as other staff members but I was the only one spoken to for doing the same thing everyone else was allowed to do. I am a team player, I volunteered to stay late, come in early, and work on Saturdays. I was never an attendance problem. I tried to transfer to another office with in Riverside and my supervisor was notified for each position I applied for. If you are trying to get away from toxic leadership, notifying them that I am attempting to leaving only put a target on my back! I have the zoom chat screen shot to that I shared with Human Resources. Again, they didn't want to discuss anything with me after working up the courage to talk to someone. I provided detailed feed back on my exit survey. I have also emailed HR all the supporting documentation. (I have the name of who I spoke with, but am not sharing it on this public form). I will miss Riverside and it's unfortunate that the leaders are not using progressive discipline and corrective action in order to be more proactive with new employees. I could have learned a lot if given the right management.
