Avantages

Redo will push you to your limits. You are surrounded by highly motivated and competent coworkers who are working towards the small goal. No politics.

Inconvénients

Compared to other Utah companies, Redo doesn’t offer the same level of work-life balance. The team is all in. It’s demanding, but also deeply rewarding. I’ve grown more in one year at Redo than I did in the four years before.

Avantages

Everyone who works at Redo will learn and grow so much in their career. I'm telling you, Redo is going places and only an act of God is stopping it. Sometimes I have to remind myself how rare it is to be working at a company that's growing this fast and doing as well as it is.

Inconvénients

I've had a pretty poor experience working with the CTO. I almost didn't take the job because of how the interview went with him; he was super distracted the entire time, not really focused on me, and just super cold in general. I shrugged and just passed it off as him putting on his interview face, but then I got hired and realized that's just how he is all the time (if you interview with him you'll see exactly what I'm talking about). He has little control over his emotions. He'll randomly be in a terrible mood one day for absolutely no reason, and will be slamming his fist against his desk, making super passive-aggressive comments to the people around him, or even straight up spiking his computer (yes, this actually happened one time. Very alarming). I legitimately do not feel safe around him at times. Don't get me wrong; the guy is one of the smartest people I know and really knows is stuff, but is also extremely cocky and overly self-confident, which has led to many poor decisions. And I promise you I am not the only engineer that feels this way; many people I've talked to (even non-engineers) feel similarly.
