Avantages
Strong emphasis on learning and extensive cross-team collaboration. Generous PTO and benefits package. Particularly noteworthy is the flexibility offered to those in the content organization, who have the option to work from home.
Inconvénients
When leaders and managers fail to acknowledge the origin of ideas and instead claim them as their own, it creates a toxic environment where genuine collaboration and recognition are scarce. You give your manager an idea during a one on one call, they tell you they already thought of that even though you’ve never heard of it before, and then a few days later you hear them tell the team or senior leaders about this idea or project they thought of. Your idea, your solution. Not only my experience. Same leads do this repeatedly. The same goes for the majority of your teammates. Because promotions are almost nonexistent and layoffs have become cyclical, everyone is out for themselves and it’s become a never ending competitive and backstabbing (and micromanaging) culture where those in more senior roles have the winning hand.
