Working at ProjectManager.com has been great so far. The company was one of the pioneers of the project management software industry, which has become more and more competitive recently. To stay at the forefront of the industry, the company is growing and hiring highly talented people in marketing, sales, customer support, and product. The recent growth has lead to innovative ideas, which is driving more company growth. The company has a big presence, but a relatively small team (around 30 people between offices in New Zealand and Austin). This means that when you have a good idea that can help the company, you have a real opportunity to take action. The leadership is great, the CEO Jason is a pro in this field and he has a strong board behind him pushing things forward.
Inconvénients
Office culture is a bit dry, so if you are coming from a company with ping pong tables and kegerators, you probably won't get excited about the Austin office. The work comes first, which is a good thing if you don't like all of the distractions of modern tech startups.
