Fantastic and rewarding - Avis employé Sales and Marketing ProcessPro

This privately held family run business offers outstanding flexibility for it's employees and is a great place to work. There is a very high level of integrity, open door policy and you look forward to work each Monday. Great group of people all pulling in the same direction. Daycare onsite, wonderful wooded property, free parking, and close proximaty to restaurants. Win-Win-Win.

The only con I can think of is we are located 1 hr. away from major big city hubs, like Minneapolis. Many people would think of that as a Pro though.

Put food on the table for my family. A few departments got work done, they had their nose to the grindstone and churn out improvements. Made the software better and customers happy.

Other departments have employees there for the fun of it and to collect a paycheck. Walk back to collaborate or ask a question to help a client and find them goofing off, having a social gathering or a party involving food. More time is spent decorating cubes, discussing the latest fashion, favorite coffee shop and workout routines than doing actual work. The company is not flexible unless you work in Marketing or IS. I saw the entire Marketing staff there once in a 6 month period. Growth is limited in this small of a company. Supervisor and Subordinates is about it.
