Avantages

NetApp is one of those companies that sucks you in with a lot of perks such as a gym, quarterly beer bashes, and 3 cafes. It's a high profile company and has been rated in the top ten best places to work for about 5 years running.

Inconvénients

The perks aren't free, they expect you to pay by being available all the time. The company is rated in the top 10 places to work because they offer employees an additional day off if they make it on the list. The company culture is a bit cold and people don't have much of a sense of team cohesiveness but untimately, I think it depends on your management. That is what really determines how you are going to do at a company. I had both good and bad management.

Avantages

Amongst the top companies in the data storage industry = company stability.

Inconvénients

If you'd ask me a year or 2 ago, I would have given the company 5 stars. But, as with most tech companies now, they've started to follow the trend of return to office, regardless of logic. There's little to no room for exceptions and the company would rather sacrifice productivity regardless if they know the hardships for people living in metros (one way commute to the NY or SJC office can take 2 hours one way!) - that and there's no commuter benefits. You have to pay out of pocket and live in fear of not receiving your bonus if you miss the "thrive together" quarterly requirements.
