Avantages

I am a current employee with Modis as a national recruiter. I just wanted to say that the training program they have was great and definitely beneficial in my learning. I liked how we were able to learn each aspect of the recruiting process bit by bit throughout the program so that it was easy to master each part; rather than being thrown to the wolves and having to learn everything from sourcing to interview preps and extending offers all at the same time. In comparison to other training programs I have been a part of, it was a very nice change of pace to have the recruiter/sourcer relationship, where you can work directly under a senior recruiter to get feedback and have them act as a mentor to your learning. Weekly webinars were also a great learning tool, being able to get deeper insight into the roles that we are recruiting for helps to create more confidence in knowing the skill sets necessary to fulfill our job requirements. All in all, the sourcer training program definitely set me up for success to feel 100% confident in my recruiting abilities moving forward.

Inconvénients

For the most part there are no cons that I have been aware of yet. Of course any good job is not going to be easy and there is effort that needs to be put forth to be successful, but Modis definitely provides the tools necessary to success.

Avantages

Casual attire. Good place to make friends. If you’re straight out of college with no experience, it’s pretty good pay and a good opportunity.

Inconvénients

No annual raises. Little-to-no room for growth. Pay is much lower than the market rate for recruiters. Disrespect from corporate. Recruiters were promised a raise for well over a year that never happened. They’re losing employees left and right and yet corporate expects the center to perform the same as when they had double the employees. Disrespect from management. There’s no such thing as manager/employee confidentiality. Managers spread false rumors about people to others in the office. Since there are so many fresh out of college employees, the environment is extremely unprofessional and management does nothing to rectify it. Going to work feels a lot like high school. HR is practically non-existent. There is no one on site and the email/telephone number is difficult to even find. Due to this, multiple forms of harassment have taken place unpunished.
