Avantages
I enjoyed Mathis as a company, I’ve met a lot of good people through many stores. The pay can be exciting if you are a naturally good sales person.
Inconvénients
-Training is NOT enough. 2 weeks training and 3 months training pay is not enough. -I wanted this job, and I saw many others who did as well. Yet they were pushed out. -The learning curve takes at least 5 months to understand most processes and get to know your products. By the time you finally get the hang of the job, chances are you are about to be let go for missing goal. -The turnover is high because if you miss your sales goals for 3 months, you are off the floor and looking for work again. 3 months is not enough for many first-timer salespeople to accrue enough in custom orders and future orders to meet a 50k sales goal every month consistently. -Sales goals are based on delivery, not written sales, so you could write enough to meet your goal in a month and still miss it, if clients want a delivery for a later month. -The company overall seems less interested in keeping people who want to learn and be taught over a long time, they want to find the few naturally good sales people out of the lot, and the rest are left to kind of fend for themselves.
