Avantages
- management for the merch department is better than most other departments. - you will make friends here. - promotions happen often. - the work itself is easy. - guests tend to be nicer here compared to other places I've worked. - you do make shared tips depending on where you work for the day.
Inconvénients
- because so many people work here, the level of gossip tends to be high. - if too many associates get hired, you may see your hours decrease. Some associates got their full-time hours and others didn't. Scheduling is automatic now, so it's inconvenient. If you ask/request it on the app, an area supervisor can add an open shift in for you if it's available. - we do send people home if we're exceeding our labor budget. - this position is seasonal. You have to take 13 weeks off at some point. Usually people take off January-April or December-March. If you're only here for the summer, this won't affect you.)
