1. Large brand recognition as a reinsurer. 2. Narrow mandate of reinsurance only. They tend not to engage in insurance since it is not favorably looked up on by their clients. 3. Good job security. 4. 20+ vacation days. 5. Not expected after working hours.
Inconvénients
1. "Old school" company with less regards to innovation. 2. Horrible payers - often 50% below market. 3. Highly bureaucratic. 4. Not women friendly - one of the board member made a remark that women are sometimes difficult to give higher responsibility since they are more expected to take care of kids. 5. Operates in Centralized fashion - German driven. They do not trust "non-German foreigners". 6. Not a good employer if you are entrepreneurial, they believe in keeping up to the old fashioned ways.
