Avantages
Cool second summer job Free shows Cash Flexible with scheduling A lot of shifts are only 4-6 hours Management stands with employees over customers if customers are rude or you try and enforce a policy and they become angry Cool co-workers
Inconvénients
Initially the good sections were determined by seniority. I put in time here - a good amount of time. One year they decided to hire some really young managers and the sections became about popularity. I was suddenly back in the crap sections, and new girls were in the money sections. I was also no longer getting good shows. It's not really worth it when you make $50 or less a show. Customers often feel like it's okay to tip you $1 on $20...$2 on $30...etc. The redone stadium seating for seated shows doesn't let you access a lot of customers. Some waitstaff don't do their share of cleaning and everyone else has to compensate. After seated shows all staff are forced to clear the floor of all tables and chairs after cleaning. It at least takes an hour and you are being paid the normal waitstaff rate of $3 and change.
