Avantages
“Expert Network” is an exciting industry to work with. You will be able to learn a lot what is happening on the front edge of every segment of the world. Most of Clients are first class players. Advisors are also top tier experts and leaders of their industries. Working closely with them, you will broaden your perspectives. I enjoyed a lot working with Clients/Advisors. From a purely business viewpoint, it was a uniquely fun experience in my life.
Inconvénients
In spite of the sophisticated business it involves, the company is run by third rate vulgar management. In their unspoken concept, advisor network is nothing more than a “RENT-A-CAR” pool. Employees are driven to work like horses to earn client CUs. They disvalue the ethics or morality of well-intentioned employees and greatly appreciate/evaluate toxic masculine type resources (aggressive, over competitive, machine-gun CU shooters… superheroes what they call). Harassment, politics, unfair favoritism, microaggression are too common… MONEY JUSTIFIES EVERYTHING. If you can align with the doctrine, this is your place. But if you want to develop more solid and right career for your future, it will be a waste of time. You will learn nothing but a bad old business sample of pre-Pandemic age. In addition, the expert network industry has been successful as it has matched the times for the last one or two decades, but I wonder if it goes on in the upcoming generative AI era?
