Avantages
Free lunch, Some thought provoking discussions from outside professionals during main events that are held at the company a couple times per year. Some intelligent people working there. Probably could do some influential things and make some money for the share holders over the next five years or so if the starts align.
Inconvénients
The hardware development is pretty simple overall. No major big time developments going on. Mostly recurring improvements to existing technologies. Everyone seems to be so excited about it. It's cringy. Almost every engineering manager is young and inexperienced. There's almost no one to really learn and be mentored by who actually has been there and done that. The electrical engineering lead is not well suited for his existing position.
