Avantages
Not only is this company and team respected locally, it is recognized nationally as one of the best minor league teams to work for. The FRR function in more ways than one like a major league team and very different from any other minor league team. PLUS, the perk of walking into a ballpark everyday isn't something just everyone gets t do. The community loves the team which makes you feel proud to be affiliated with them.
Inconvénients
The work environment is very unprofessional. (The way people speak to one another is very neagtive and most of the people there hate their jobs---it shows) The training is not extensive and the management is poor. A LOT is expected for VERY little pay. The hours are incredibly long and little recognition for the amount of time one works during the week. I was once referred to here as a "warm body in a seat" as an employee. A lot of people want to work in the sports industry, they know this and can get away with the high turn over rate here since there are always new people trying to break into the business. For that reason, I felt like I was kept at arms length and not trained very well making me feel like just that, a warm body in a seat answering phone calls.
