The company provided additional editorial training, and I achieved certification as a developmental editor. Best of all, I am supported by client account managers who provide answer calls for customer service, so I get to focus on just editing.

Providing samples for clients requires that I have to prove myself again and again as an editor. (I get a bonus for this work, but it is honestly not huge financially.) Also, I work online which can be lonely.
