      Avantages

      Working with a company for 10 years, you become family and know each other strengths and weaknesses. It is a friendly and fun atmosphere where everyone has each other’s backs. Falcon-Software’s leadership is very dedicated to their employees and has always provided me with the knowledge and support required on projects. Technology is always changing, as a result Falcon continuously adjusts to the times and needs of our clients.

      Inconvénients

      Falcon-Software’s main office is located in the heart of Langford close to many restaurants, shops and main bus routes. Most of the employees live in the Westshore area and a few have a longer commute that are coming from Victoria.

      Thank you for the advice. Management will look at the feasibility of adding more educational workshops for 2016.

      Avantages

      Be prepared to work with a great team. Highly under-appreciated but extremely productive, the staff are the like the little engine that could. You'll find dedicated professionals willing to support colleagues at any time of day or night. More than 2/3'rds of the employees have been with the company for 5+ years. The company re-invents itself about every 5 years to keep up with the constantly changing world of technology. This makes for never a dull moment at work. There is no expectation to work more than a 40 hour week, unless deadlines need to be met. Good work-life balance.

      Inconvénients

      The company leadership (President and Vice-President) live in the dark ages with regards to salary reviews/increases, company culture (albeit getting better slowly due to pressure from within), even the colour of the walls (brown). Company office is in the suburbs and not near the tech park or downtown.

      Thank you for your feedback. Although we do have automatic annual salary increases for all staff and we do follow the PayScale salary average for the region, the company leadership will certainly take a closer look at the current salary review process and see what changes/improvements should be made. As far as the company HQ being located in the suburbs... that's not quite accurate. Langford is the 3rd-largest of the 13-municipalities in the Capital Regional District and the fastest growing municipality in BC. Falcon-Software is actually located right in the heart of downtown Langford. We selected our current location because it offers the capacity to grow without having cubical workstations, ample free parking for staff, numerous restaurants, shops and malls within walking distance, right next to a major transit hub, and bicycle lock-up and shower facilities for those that want to bike to work.

      Avantages

      Everyone gets an office, dev team was amazing, lots of work to keep you busy

      Inconvénients

      Lack of communication, upper management, company morale seems low
