      Avantages

      There are some really good people here. And you can have a lucrative couple of years in a decent work environment at this job. If you're looking for a gig that pays great for 1 to 3 years, this is about the best thing out there. But it's not sustainable (see Cons).

      Inconvénients

      Ask how many Account Managers have been there longer than 3 years (there are 2). Then ask how many Account Managers have left in the last 3 years (I lost count, but more than 20, most of them terminated). You will either burn out and look for something else, or be terminated before that happens (you'll be assigned into a couple of markets that will go south on you, and won't be given ample time to recover - this happens to even the top performers). Lately, they've been hiring younger and less experienced people, and frankly, that's the right move. This is a GREAT job for a recent grad with a little sales experience, who is looking for a good short term opportunity to make really good money. Just know that you'll be looking for something else not too far down the road.

You are correct, there has been significant turnover in our account manager role over the last three years. As a company we started the Traction / EOS process about 4 years ago and we are very focused on cultural fit and employees who are interested in living our core values. We have needed to terminate a number of employees who didn't live our core values, and a number of other employees left on their own as they saw their job fit wasn't great. Thus, there are not many long tenured employees in this department. The account manager role isn't for everyone, but it is one of the best account management / sales roles in the Twin Cities. But don't take our word for it, we have had a number of employees leave for greener pastures only to return when they realize the benefits of the Five Star process and culture. Please continue to discuss with your manager any specific changes that you think are needed to improve this role. Thank you again for taking the time to complete this review.

      Avantages

      * Fantastic support and continuous training form the Management Team * Managing and growing your book of business * Getting to work with same clients every year and building relationships *Fun team atmosphere and a great group of people to work with. *No cold calling and lead hunting on your own. Appointments are set for you.

      Inconvénients

      The company is fairly small so there is not a ton of room for advancement and changing a career path.

      Avantages

      Work from home and take advantage of missed appointments (don't worry they're sales calls) that are "disguised as your client winning an award" If you like the lack of management - I guess that's a plus too-

      Inconvénients

      Where to start- They will only give you clients that have heard this sales pitch / video you make them watch every year for the last 10+ years. Even the top sales people around won't stand a chance when they are just waiting to hang up the moment you try to open into a sales pitch. 5 months of working there, not a single one on one. They actually told us to listen to our own calls after hours (salary, not hourly) and they expected us to have those ready for them (but of course they never followed up on that because they lacked doing one on ones) Your appointment didn't answer? No free time for you. They expect you to cold call from a list in between your calls so don't expect to have free time to enjoy working from home. (The moment I realized this I never once made these cold calls because I was specifically hired as an inbound appointments) - It only took them 5 MONTHS for them to realize I wasn't even doing that lmao (again shows how amazing mgmt is) All of the extra benefits they mentioned in their job postings are all bs. No 401k, no gym membership reimbursement, it's just a bunch of bs, (there's a reason they are now called Essential Engine instead of 5 star because everyone already caught on to their nonsense.
