Avantages
The people. Helping customers is a joy. I love seeing how happy someone is when they get something they just ordered. I love all the animals I get to see. I know everyone's dogs on my route, and they always run up to greet me. My coworkers are amazing. My supervisor tries so hard to make sure everyone is taken care of and happy.
Inconvénients
I'll tell you the worst thing, cause it just happened. Worked here 5 years without a raise. Friday: They just gave everyone a raise! Finally, everyone is happy — making a decent wage. Knew this job would pay off eventually! Monday: "Everyone has to sign these forms saying you won't call DHL and complain about pay, etc." Ok, no problem! Don't have their number anyway. Tuesday: Yeah, we screwed up. Your raise isn't actually a raise. You'll have to work X amount of hours to reach the same amount you were working before because we're taking that guaranteed deal away. Oh, and don't forget — can't complain to anyone because we got you to sign that paper RIGHT before we screwed ya! Now get out there and work harder so you can make the same amount.
