Avantages

(1) Great place for Hustlers - if you've got your own system, networks and could operate solo, they can amplify your productivity by connecting you with great opportunities while you're working there. (2) Plenty of Travel/Sales Opportunities - If you are good at feeling out issues and pain points from laymen and businessmen , and then convincing them how the design, email and marketing teams can help them solve those problems, you can make decent money here. (3) Relaxed Office Hours & Dress Code - If you want to show up in shorts and sneakers, so long as you're making sales and fulfilling work orders no one is going to harass you about dress code or office hours. (4) LA Fitness in Building - If you're also a Gym Rat, you'll love the company membership deals to the LA Fitness in the lobby + being able to go workout during the day. (5) Great Food in Walking Distance - Lots of great, one-of-a-kind working class food on the block. Team lunches were a regular thing.

Inconvénients

(1) Only Experts - If you're looking to learn on the job or looking for mentors, might be "too lean" to provide that level of guidance and stability. (2) Strongly Polarized/Political - The old adage “don’t talk religion or politics in the office” should be in your mind at all times. No hostility or anything, but keep the peace and just don't bring them up while you're on the clock. (3) Lift Yourself Up - If you succeed, the group will succeed by association. If you are struggling, they'll give you opportunities to prospect, close deals and win accounts. But if you don't know how to prospect, close deals, win accounts - you'd better hope you can figure it out how to get business on your own.

Avantages

The people. You work with a great group of guys (and girls). The CEO (Mike) knows his stuff. He's extremely helpful too. The General Manager, Semmie, became my best friend. He provides you with all the tools, knowledge, and assistance to be successful. And lastly, the owners are cool as hell. It's not a micromanaged office at all, they pay you to do a job, as long as you get the job done, they can care less what you do (as long as you're not hurting the company in any way). They run the company like a family. If worst comes to worst, tough love may be necessary, but they give you all the opportunity in the world to do well. Even though I'm no longer employed there, I still go back every once in a while to say hi to everyone at the office.

Inconvénients

The only con of working here is the fact that you're selling a product that a lot of people don't want. Sales jobs are easy when people are inquiring about a product that you're selling. When people want what you have. In this case, essentially selling email, building your book of business can be rough. However, they do give you all the tools and assistance that you need to be successful... If you can find your flow on the phones, you'll be in good shape.
