Avantages
- Great people: Patient, thoughtful, and helpful through the interview & signing process, helpful while on-boarding (mostly) remotely, smart, team players, have lives outside work, passionate & knowledgeable about the audio/video creation space - Exciting product: Truly innovative and differentiated approach to A/V editing, nothing else like it, and truly magical time-savings for users - Great leadership: Fantastic leadership team, not just background, but just as smart individuals who are willing to engage with employees about anything
Inconvénients
- Fast-paced: Not a good fit for you if you think in big company time-frames, for the most part you'll be thinking 2-6 weeks out here - Not good for specialization: This environment caters to generalists, and people who don't mind being spread a little thin. If you want to focus and specialize in one thing for very long, it might be hard. - Startup benefits: Decent benefits for a startup, but nothing on what you'd get from a big co. in terms of perks (though you get free lunch in SF office if you come in), a small step down on things like insurance, & no 401k match.
