Avantages
Codeverse is really an amazing place to work. The studio itself is pretty magical looking and has an awesome space theme that really gets the kids into a coding mindset. Lots of technology, flexible seating, and it is very clean. As an instructor I got to pick my schedule, and they use a great scheduling app, which made picking up shifts super easy. The management team loves feedback from instructors (which honestly, is rare in education). I'm a full time teacher, and this was a part-time extra job for me, and I appreciated the communication and openness from the team. My coworkers were all great- super smart, happy, and easy to get along with. Kids came in excited to learn about coding and there was a great range of ages to work with. It was easy to work the amount of shifts that you were comfortable with. Great part-time job for teachers in the summer as well (with good compensation)!
Inconvénients
No real downsides- but this isn't a job for slackers. Be prepared to be on your A-game for every class and have lots of energy.
