Avantages
Most employees are friendly and easy to get along with. PTO days accrue at the average rates. Management and general employee populations are diverse and tolerant.
Inconvénients
For a technology company, and one with such a strong record of success, CCC is a dinosaur when it comes to employee environment, company culture, and compensation. The company claims to be "middle of the road" when it comes to salary/benefits packages and work environment, but these claims falls glaringly short for employees outside of product development and below senior-level. The benefits package is minimal and inflexible, business practices are antiquated, and management is often disconnected from their subordinates and unresponsive to their concerns and feedback. Paltry offerings of brand name break-room coffee and logo-ed sweatshirts are fobbed off to evade addressing the larger issues causing employee dissatisfaction. Departments are deeply isolated from each other, and intracompany communication and cooperation is problematically limited. Efforts to make progressive changes are often shot down by management for hollow reasons that ultimately reflect deep-seated inflexibility and commitment to maintaining the status quo.
