Avantages

Inconvénients

- Roles are not defined == Wild West. Not clear goals or path. - Most great engineers already left or kicked out. - Hyper-growth = rushing, so lowering the level of new hires = external agencies supporting with full team of engineers building poor product/code, destroying the base already built by existing teams, pushing old employees to leave. - It is supposed to be an open and honest culture, but it is NOT, secret plans, no visibility and no explanations. - There are many first time leaders with short experience, no training, no support. - No real connection between Hubs, each one doing whatever they want, causing lot of tech issues later and fights between teams. - During probation period, if you ask for help, you are on your own, no one would help you. Struggle and you will not pass probation period, no explanation to you, or your team/colleagues. Dumb move in my opinion, as in that case team/colleagues maybe only saw a good employee being kicked for no reason, no explanation, new initiatives dying, etc... Morale sinking. Lot of resources down the drain without trying to help/improve situation. Not efficient. - Pursue harder bullying and passive aggressive behavior in meetings and channels, because it is not working.

Hi (former) Panda, We appreciate the time you’ve taken to let us know about your experience at Bitpanda. It’s great to read the many positives you’ve listed from your time with us — in particular, our benefits, flexibility-first approach to work and, of course, working alongside our brilliant Pandas! We understand that growing at an incredibly fast pace as we have done means we’re not immune to growing pains. But, as we operate on the idea of “launch fast and iterate”, it’s never supposed to be perfect. Instead, we aim to learn together from our experience and keep building — better — together. However, one thing we will not compromise on is the quality and talent of the Pandas we welcome into our den, and we continue to be proud of our ability to attract and retain the best of the best to Bitpanda. We also want to make sure that everyone here has the confidence and ability to speak up and give it to us straight on what works well and what we could improve. This is why we recently completed an anonymous company-wide Bitpanda Employee Voice Survey and will be working hard to implement what we’ve learnt from it.
