-The Free Lunches in the cafeteria -decent office

Inconvénients

- Very dishonest hiring - Find possible reasons not to pay you. My training kept on having units attached to it just so they did not have to pay me. That is right you do not get paid for training so they try to keep you there as long as possible. -The good reviews you see on here is probably from employees that were told to do this from upper management. I believe these reviews are screened before hand. -If you do not need a visa to work here please do not work there. It is a scam. Whatever salary they tell you is on the condition you sign up with a client. Otherwise they pay you 15 dollars an hour for internal projects.

When you are training at ADDTEQ, you are not working on projects. Thus, when an employee is in training, they cost us money, while when an employee is out of training and on a project, they make us money. While you are in the FREE training you receive on industry standard technologies, we only pay for your housing, 2 meals a day, beer once a week, all the coffee you can drink, video games, ping-pong and transportation - so your expense to us is not as great as if we were including the thousands in cash per week you get once out of training. However, once you get out of training, although you cost us even more, you bring us in actual money, as opposed to during training, when you are still contributing zero value, while occupying resources. Therefore, it would make no sense for us to "keep you in training" in order to avoid paying you, because once out of training, you become financially more valuable to us, then before. We would never keep someone in training unless they needed genuine improvement in their technical skills. I understand it can be frustrating when struggling with learning a skill, but please don't take it out on ADDTEQ, who really did provide you with significant benefit and value.

When I started in Addteq I already had experience working as a SCM build engineer in one of Big Four audit firms. In other words I wasn’t an amateur. During the time in Addteq, I was exposed to many tools and resources which I’m using extensively in my current position in one of the leading banks in US. • I met experts in my field in Addteq, and I’m thankful to them for their inspiration. • They were Atlassin Experts and Implementation Partners, which is a Big Plus for any DevOps Engineer in the market at the moment. I’m still getting calls and email from vendors and almost every Job Description has at least one of the atlassian tools in them as a requirement. Even In my current position I’m helping several teams to implement their JIRA workflows thanks to Addteq. • You will get a nice touch of corporate environment at addteq ( StandUp meetings, Brainstorming on Fridays, Business Casual Dress code, etc..) • I was exposed to Tools and Methodologies (Puppet, Chef, Dockers, Continues Deployment, etc.) which are still fairly new in corporate world. • There weren’t many places where I can go and continue my career as a build engineer and I’m glad I choose addteq.

I lived in NY and I drove about 45min-1hr one way. They pay you monthly instead of bi-weekly.

Hi and thanks for the review! Thanks for making the trip from NYC to Princeton. We're so glad to have had you! The fact that the experience you got at Addteq has led to such great employment opportunities really makes us proud. We take this as a testament to the growing importance of our Atlassian toolchain. Feel free to come back for a beer & brag one of these Fridays. Also, you should come say hi at one of the Addteq sponsored Atlassian Users Group meetings in NYC if you are still living there. :)
