Avantages

=> Very high trust environment. For instance, no "expense report authorizations" required. Just do what you think is right and don't abuse it => Not cut-throat, collegial => Successful company with good product portfolio

Inconvénients

=> surprisingly old (lots more "30 year tech veterans from Amdol" than 5 year out of school kids) => Rampant title disparity, some corporate staff roles do zero work (and earn Senior Director or VP titles) while line jobs (eng, prod mgmt, sales mainly) are carrying a huge load for Manager or Director title. Sounds petty, but it's really frustrating to the line => Surprising amount of red tape in the product development orgs - we're talking 16 months to get a feature included in a new release, and getting slower! Simply not nimble

Avantages

Amongst the top companies in the data storage industry = company stability.

Inconvénients

If you'd ask me a year or 2 ago, I would have given the company 5 stars. But, as with most tech companies now, they've started to follow the trend of return to office, regardless of logic. There's little to no room for exceptions and the company would rather sacrifice productivity regardless if they know the hardships for people living in metros (one way commute to the NY or SJC office can take 2 hours one way!) - that and there's no commuter benefits. You have to pay out of pocket and live in fear of not receiving your bonus if you miss the "thrive together" quarterly requirements.
