=> Very high trust environment. For instance, no "expense report authorizations" required. Just do what you think is right and don't abuse it => Not cut-throat, collegial => Successful company with good product portfolio
Inconvénients
=> surprisingly old (lots more "30 year tech veterans from Amdol" than 5 year out of school kids) => Rampant title disparity, some corporate staff roles do zero work (and earn Senior Director or VP titles) while line jobs (eng, prod mgmt, sales mainly) are carrying a huge load for Manager or Director title. Sounds petty, but it's really frustrating to the line => Surprising amount of red tape in the product development orgs - we're talking 16 months to get a feature included in a new release, and getting slower!
