Avantages

I am with NetApp since last 6 years and overall I have good experience with NetApp, but everything depends on your BU. In some BUs workload is moderate whereas in others you need to slog to compete with team mates and get a good appraisal. Work environment is good and people are really helpful to newcomers. Flexible timings and work from home options help in maintaining work life balance.

Inconvénients

Career progress is very slow unless your performance is phenomenal. Internal transfers are difficult. Two shutdowns in a year where either your vacation leave gets deducted or you have to opt for LOA. Was among great places to work for but not anymore. As company expanded it slowly started performing bad in this area.

Avantages

Amongst the top companies in the data storage industry = company stability.

Inconvénients

If you'd ask me a year or 2 ago, I would have given the company 5 stars. But, as with most tech companies now, they've started to follow the trend of return to office, regardless of logic. There's little to no room for exceptions and the company would rather sacrifice productivity regardless if they know the hardships for people living in metros (one way commute to the NY or SJC office can take 2 hours one way!) - that and there's no commuter benefits. You have to pay out of pocket and live in fear of not receiving your bonus if you miss the "thrive together" quarterly requirements.
