Avantages

Its a good company with huge potential to grow. Continuous growth has been observed in past years. Targets to grow further are still in line with the thoughts of the Management. Systems are in place and IT Savvy company. Good system for orientation of newcomers. Easy to get along with people within the office as well as other Jacobs offices. Less problems during the work, generally people are willing to take the pain to help you. Its a good place to learn and enhance your knowledge to perform better in the field. Lots of opportunities to grow and move around.

Inconvénients

Sometimes it becomes difficult to cope with the quality of on job training. Resource allocation is based on the wish list of the dept manager rather what is your interest. It happens but not all times. Some long term assignment can kill the motivation and hence it becomes important to rotate people out of such assignments after couple of years. This becomes one of the reasons to leave the company. Opportunities with other Jacobs offices could be explored to enhance exposure to the staff. Appraisal is not linked to the annual wage adjustments. Some people seen wasting time in smoking gets more increment than those doing work sincerely.
