Technical Service Specialist

JOB SUMMARY

He/She is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues of coffee machines and related equipment carried by the company ensuring that all coffee machines operate efficiently and reliably.

The Technical Service Specialist will work closely with clients/customers providing exceptional service and technical support to meet their needs according to the company’s standard.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

INSTALLATION & SET UP

  • Install coffee machines and related equipment at customer sites.
  • Configure and calibrate machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide training to customers on the proper use and maintenance of their coffee machines.

MAINTENANCE & REPAIR

  • Perform routine maintenance on coffee machines to prevent breakdowns and extend their lifespan.
  • Diagnose and Repair mechanical and electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Replace faulty components and parts as needed.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

  • Respond to customer inquiries and service requests promptly.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues over the phone or on-site.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers to help them operate their machines effectively.
  • Help sales during machine demonstration on prospect clients

DOCUMENTATION & REPORTING

  • Maintain detailed service reports for all customer interactions and machine servicing.
  • Generate reports on maintenance activities, machine performance, and customer satisfaction.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction with the service provided.
  • Address customer concerns and complaints professionally and effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2yrs Vocational Technical Course or equivalent; technical training or certification in electronics, mechatronics, electromechanical or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with coffee machines or other kitchen appliances.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Strong technical knowledge of coffee machines, including both mechanical and electrical components.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing complex issues in coffee machines.
  • Familiarity with various brands and models of coffee machines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
  • Able to drive motorcycle and car with valid driver’s license for travel to customer sites.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Adaptable and able to manage changing priorities effectively.
