Earlier this month, we had the absolute joy of celebrating our incredible 'Best of the Year' winners on an unforgettable reward trip in Costa Rica! It was a week full of sunshine, adventure, relaxation, and celebration! 🌊☀️🌴🥥🌺🐚🌅 From pool volleyball and nature hikes at the resort to epic off-site excursions like deep-sea fishing, waterfall swimming, rainforest exploring, and spotting all the incredible wildlife Costa Rica has to offer—this trip was packed with memorable moments. We also hosted small group dinners, where winners had a chance to connect, share stories, and build new friendships. We always love the chance to celebrate #TeamShaneCo's stellar accomplishments!

Today is World Mental Health Day, a day that represents a global initiative to raise awareness and understanding about mental health issues. Mental health in the workplace isn’t just about what resources a company does or doesn’t have; it is about creating a culture where employees feel safe to discuss their mental well-being. A culture that doesn’t prejudice against people with different capabilities than our own, a culture that is honest and open and is constantly seeking to improve itself, no different than what it is asking of the individuals who comprise it. Here at Shane Co., we are fully committed to doing our best to support the mental health of our team members. We have a dedicated Manager of Wellbeing & Work Life. We offer various trainings on different mental-health and wellness related topics, a variety of resources, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Affinity Groups focused on wellness, and more—all with the sole purpose of providing support to #TeamShaneCo. Why do we do this? Because we know how important mental health is to one’s overall well-being. We believe that healthy people make happy people, and happy people make better workplaces overall (and happier customers!). And we want to make sure that each of our employees feels valued and seen as a whole person. Happy World Mental Health Day! Get out there and take care of yourselves and each other.
We love to celebrate hashtag#TeamShaneCo and their accomplishments in BIG ways. That’s why earlier this spring, our "Best of the Year" 🤩 team members from our stores and home office traded in their name badges & laptops for shorts, fun in the sun, and dinners on the beach and were treated to an experience of a lifetime in Riviera Maya! While on the trip, our team members enjoyed a week full of fun activities — excursions like a ropes course, deep sea fishing, ATV riding, and even the Mayan ruins! Along with, of course, lots of pool aerobics, beach time, and drinks to celebrate this team's incredible accomplishments over the last year. Work hard, play harder! ☀️🏖️🎣🌴

Tag them and give them a shoutout! 📢 “GEM” = “Going the Extra Mile” The purpose of the GEM program is to reward employees who have served Shane Co. in an exceptional manner by exemplifying our core values through their work and exhibiting a positive and supportive attitude toward our customers and team members. In each store, employees nominated their peers on the basis of whom they felt would best represent their store from a brand, cultural and performance perspective. This year we have Jewelry Consultants, Customer Service Associates, Visual Merchandisers and Bench Jewelers all represented.
