The Hundred is here! A fantastic summer of sport continues with the first matches today in this blockbuster cricket event and we're excited to see eight of KP Snacks' leading brands on the team shirts! The opening matches are this afternoon, starting at 14:45 with Oval Invincibles Women vs. Birmingham Phoenix Women followed by the Oval Invincibles Men vs. Birmingham Phoenix Men at 18:30. If you can't be at The Kia Oval in person, the matches will be screened live on Sky Sports and BBC Two and broadcast on BBC 5 Sports Extra from 2:30. A great effort last week by our colleagues who took part in the very first Booker Group Dragon Boat Race! They joined over 400 others from manufacturers and retailers in the grocery industry to collectively raise over £275,000 for GroceryAid. Two of our amazing brands have made it onto the The Grocer's Top 100 list of the UK’s biggest grocery brands by value – and a third is not too far away! Hula Hoops has moved up the ranking to make it to the Top 50! In 2023, we added Cheese & Onion to Hula Hoops Puft, our non-HFSS (not high in fat, sugar or salt) range as a healthier snacking option and the Hula Licious, Hula Lightful’ campaign has kick started our brand activity in 2024. McCoy’s position also improved, up 10 places to #52. New non-HFSS Epic Eats flavours hit the shelves in 2023, with Nacho Cheese and Spicy Salsa, followed by Chip Shop Curry Sauce and Bangin’ BBQ, keeping consumers excited with innovative products, packing a flavour punch and McCoy’s signature crunch. Also rising up the rankings is KP Nuts, just shy of the Top 100 at #112.
