Sent CV and was contacted a week later by their recruitment team. Was advised I had an interview, with a 10 minute microteaching element.
At the start of my interview the lady asked "You're interviewing for Leeds, right?" I answered no, I was applying for Manchester. They asked would I consider any other locations, I said no (as I've just bought a property, and the advert said Manchester). The interview seemed to go well, but I never heard back, despite chasing this up.
What's more, a friend interviewed for the same role, but in London. They never heard back either. I've since noticed that GBS advertise their roles constantly. So it appears that they're possibly advertising to build candidates pools, or for PR purposes, and not always for available opportunities. What a huge waste of time.
