J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez upGrad (Mumbai) en févr. 2018
Entretien
In the beginning of the process I was told that there will be 4 rounds and after clearing each round I will go to the next one. The following round was informed:
1) Technical Telephonic round
2) Assignment - Content development
3) Technical Round - Based on the assignment
4) Face to Face Interview
The first round was very basic. It was more like understanding the profile. The interviewer asked about my current job profile, roles and responsibilities and technical skills. As I had experience in content development he wanted to understand exactly what have I done. He told me that, he will be sending me the assignment and I have to complete it within a week time.
The second round was the assignment and included both coding as well as content development for a concept. The guideline was sketched down properly and the questions were very simple. There was one teaching assignment question and a coding assignment for which the data set was given along with 3 questions out of which the first question had 5 sub questions. After submitting the assignment I did not received any feedback. After 15 days, I received a mail asking for few details in the assignment. And then they did not responded me back.
Thinking that I am not selected I applied in other organisation. After a month I received a call asking for am I still open for the job. As I was still looking for better opportunity I went ahead with the third round
The third round was scheduled and I was informed that there will be a discussion on the assignment. However, I never received that call. I dropped an email to the HR asking her for the status but never heard back from her.
After 15 days, I got a call again and asking me whether I am still open for the interview process. This was something which was not acceptable to me and was really disappointed with their behaviour. The HR apologised to me and explained me why the delay happened. However, I declined this time as I got another job.
As I have heard such good things about the upgrad I wanted to give another chance. I went a head and gave a reference of one of my friend. The same profile was offered to him but he had worst experience than me.
I am really disappointed and upset with such behaviour. I feel it was completely unprofessional and amoral. I really wonder if UpGrad treats an applicant in such a way how they might be treating their employee.

Post evaluation a discussion with senior staff on experiences and scenario based questions and fitment related discussions
Post which after going through all the rounds there is no response from the team. After multiple follow-up emails and a call Hr decides the notice period is long and keeps on hold even after getting through multiple rounds of discussions which should be the very initial part of interview process
