I had an interview with the founder and it went seemingly well, lasting over an hour. The founder mentioned high turnover during the pandemic and a chaotic work system which was alarming at first but I was still interested. However, I was told to my face that I would be scheduled an interview the next day but I did not receive any email or confirmation of that whatsoever. I sent a follow-up email which also got no reply after a week. I can only assume the founder lied to my face, which says a lot about their (lack-of) professionalism and managerial accountability.
