Team, you should have the courage to say no, not sure how the work culture will be in these organizations if this is the state of mind of the team They clearly lack professionalism in conveying that they are going ahead with diff person. Any organization has the freedom to choose the candidate based on their own interest and reasons But at least they should send a regret notification or convey individual that the position is on hold.
