Con - recruiter rescheduled interview twice to get a time where their CEO is in office, on the day of interview, I was told CEO is not in office at the end of the interview. - coding round tools is a codepad with ads popping up intermittently, not professional. - manager round is really weird, it was supposed to be a project deep dive but a lot questions were thrown at me about the old system as in “why don’t your company do it this way and that’s Zilliz has been doing“, and after 30 min spent on this I mentioned we haven’t touched my project yet while iterating on this old system, afterwards questions about metrics, scale impact were asked, without understanding of the project and without details in diving in the project. - previous review mentioned they use interview to get information/best practices without intention if hiring, and the two rounds have given me this feeling, recommend to be cautious.
