First, I received an email from someone in HR to take an assessment and do a phone interview. The assessment was a personality quiz seemingly measuring disposition and attitudes. After the phone screening I had an on campus interview with the person who supervised the role and an assistant. About a week later I came for another interview where I met the executive director, site director, and various other team members.

I did several interviews with Year Up after originally applying for a different role and being asked by the HR if I would consider a different position. All interviews were done virtually over Zoom or phone. My first interview was by phone with HR and other interviews were with the hiring manager and staff members.

The process is thorough, easy, but very annoying. Ex, several rounds plus excel test. They will call your reference before advancing you to last interview. If you want to provide references, be careful.

2 phone interviews, 1 in person broken down into 2 interviews, with "homework". Interviewed with HR person during first call, woman came off as if I was interrupting her daily tasks, although she called me and I can tell she wasn't really listening to my responses. I eventually began to say whatever because I knew she wasn't interested. I was shocked when I got a chance for a second interview. Second call wasn't any better though, person called while she was driving in her car, also didn't seem to want to be bothered. In-Person interview ran late, first half went well in my opinion, second half, again woman didn't want to be bothered. I figured they already had someone for the position, they were just going through the motions, and didn't care to cover it up in their actions and facial expressions lol.
