I met with 4 people on my first day! They asked about my fashion and retail experience. They really look for some sort of retail experience. I made it to the second interview but did not get offered the position because I had no retail experience. If that is a deal breaker for you maybe pick up a part time or express them how you're willing to do some hours in shop to gain some basics.
