I want this role because I have personal connection to the students you serve. As a high school student myself, I made almost every mistake you could make. I didn't have a mentor available to guide me through those critical years. ​Because of that experience, I understand the challenges and pressures these students face on a fundamental level. For me, helping these students now feels like going back and helping my younger self.
