Hiring Manager Talk then Technical interview on sql. The recruiter told me it would he SQL and Python but then the questions were only SQL? The interviewer was very poor for the technical portion. You only get 30 minutes which is quite short for the technical and there are 4 questions. He spends first 5 minutes for intros then cut me off to spend last 10 minutes talking about my experience. So you have 15 mins to do the 4 questions. He cut me off after question 2. I still got rejected even after the interviewer gave a wrong solution and I corrected him and explained how it wouldn’t work and he acknowledged it. So one of the expected answers to the question is literally wrong. Very poor experience overall. Maybe next time actually give candidates enough time to answer the technical portion and actually know the answers to your own questions Also in both interviews, they both asked for feedback on the app, it almost feels like they are fishing candidates for ideas. Very unethical.

The interview process was quick at first, with a turnaround about one business day. And the recruiter did gave very accurate information about what to expect in each round of interview. The structure was standard: recruiter, technical screen, and two virtual onsite. One for tech, one for soft skills. (product case study, cross function, experiment & stats). And then suddenly the process slowed drastically. They asked for another leadership interview one week out, and they asked for references before an offer was extended, which is uncommon in my experience. After references were contacted, and then they said some higher leadership referred candidates and they are interviewing them now. And next Monday they said they "had a reorg and not going to hire anyone". No offer was ultimately extended. Complete a waste of time.
