I didn't apply to a specific job announcement. I wanted to move home at the time and searched for a position with several financial institutions at that time. I emailed my resume to the Human Resources Manager that August and in December--after I'd been working in retail for two months elsewhere--she called me to schedule and interview. It took place at the actual branch where I would potentially work and was about 20 minutes with her and the City President.
