During the application process for the position of an online content writer, the initial screening involved a paper-based test that contained questions pertaining to topics featured in the company's magazine as well as grammar-related queries. Notably, I was not allowed to research the topics even on my mobile. Upon inquiring about this, the HR said that the same individuals write content for both the magazine and website. Expressing my disinterest in working for the magazine, I conveyed my intention to withdraw from the test. However, the company insisted that I complete the test from an online content writer's perspective. Accordingly, I complied with their request. During next rounds of the selection process, the interviewers kept arguing with me saying that the same content work for both the magazine and the website. I literally wasted my day. Should've left when I saw the text.
